For use in your Collective.

The Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, ‘This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’

In the same way he took the cup also, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’

For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

Leader:            {First taking the cup}

We give thanks to you, Father, for the shed blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.

All:                   Glory be to you, for ever and ever.

Leader:            {Then over the bread}

We give thanks to you, Father, for the life and knowledge of God, which you have revealed to us through your Son Jesus.

All:                   Glory be to you, for ever and ever.

Leader:

As this broken bread, once dispersed over many fields, was brought together and became one loaf, so may your Church be brought together from the ends of the earth into your kingdom.

All:                   Glory be to you, for ever and ever.

Leader:

Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever.

Amen
